The Healthy Workplace Award has been recently renamed the聽Janice MacInnis Award for Healthy Workplaces聽in recognition of our HR colleague, Janice MacInnis, who is set to retire this May.

Janice has championed health and wellness at Dal for decades. The renaming of the award will allow Dal to keep Janice and her hard work front and center during wellness conversations each year and will allow her great contributions to continue to ripple through the Dal community for years to come.

Created in 2011, the Award recognizes Dal departments and units that聽walk the talk聽when it comes to workplace wellness.聽Small and large practices go into making workplaces environments where people can do and be their best. Consider聽.

Nominations will be evaluated along 1 or more of 7 dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, intellectual, interpersonal/social, spiritual, environmental and workload management.

The deadline for submissions is聽May 6, at 4:30 p.m. Submissions are to be sent by email to聽healthy@dal.ca
