(HALIFAX, N.S.) Atlantic University Sport is pleased to announce the 2025 women's soccer all-stars and major award winners, as selected by the conference's 10 head coaches following regular season play.
Memorial forward Zo毛 Rowe of Conception Bay South, N.L., has been named the AUS most valuable player.
STFX鈥檚 Avril Jamieson of Calgary, Alta., is this season鈥檚 AUS rookie of the year, while Acadia鈥檚 Leah Adams from Truro, N.S., is the recipient of the 2025 AUS student-athlete community service award.
In her 10th season leading the Dalhousie Tigers program, Coach Cindy Tye has been chosen by her peers as the AUS coach of the year for the second time in her career.
COACH OF THE YEAR: Cindy Tye, Dalhousie Tigers
Dalhousie Tigers head coach Cindy Tye has been selected by her peers as the AUS women's soccer coach of the year for the second time in her career. She first earned the honour in 2022.
Now in her 10th season at the helm of the Tigers program, Tye led Dalhousie to an impressive 10-1-1 record, a first-place finish in the regular season standings, and a first-round playoff bye to the championship semifinals.
Under her leadership, the Tigers topped the conference in shots (156) and shots on goal (124), while tying for first in both goals (27) and shutouts (8).
In addition to her coaching role, Tye serves as Dalhousie鈥檚 Director of Athletics and Recreation. She is also a National B-level coach with a long history of success at local, provincial, national and international levels.
Most recently, she led Canada鈥檚 U-20 women鈥檚 national team to the 2025 CONCACAF Women鈥檚 U-20 Championship title鈥擟anada鈥檚 first in 17 years.
Tye now becomes the Atlantic conference nominee for the U SPORTS Coach of the Year award. The most recent AUS coach to earn the national honour was STFX head coach Graham Kennedy in 2023.
2025 AUS WOMEN鈥橲 SOCCER ALL-STARS
The AUS first and second team all-stars were also announced today.
Paris Axam and Megan Chiasson were named first team all-stars. A fifth-year management student from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Megan played out of position all year. Normally a midfielder, Megan held down the Tigers backline this season. Under her leadership the team recorded eight shutouts this season, only allowing five goals all year. Megan also recorded one goal this season, in her last game at Wickwire field.
A fourth-year arts and social sciences student from Ottawa, Ontario, Paris started every game for the Tigers this season. She led the Tigers in points this season recording five goals and setting up her teammates six times.
Sarah Giles and Elise Evans were named second team all-stars. A third-year defender from Toronto, Sarah started every game for the Tigers this season in what was a very consistent back line. Sarah recorded one assist this season in addition to the team鈥檚 eight clean sheets in their regular season. Sarah is studying commerce.
A fourth-year arts and social sciences student, Elise continued her scoring and award winning run this season. Starting every game for the Tigers, Elise led the team in scoring with eight goals this season including three game-winning goals.

First year science student Selena Lancaster, was named to the all-rookie team. The Vaughan, Ontario native featured in every game for the Tigers this season, locking down the midfield.
The 2025 Bell AUS Women鈥檚 Soccer Championship, presented by Protocase, will be hosted Oct. 23-26 by Cape Breton University in Sydney, N.S.聽The Tigers earned a bye to the semifinals and play their semifinal game at 1:00pm on Friday.聽
